Description

A dark tea from Shizuoka in Japan. The leaves are first produced as a green tea, then they are mixed with black Koji mould to induce fermentation. After a week, the leaves are then dried. A rare tea. A Grand Cru with complex cereal, roasted barley, cooked fruit, caramel and coffee bean notes. A unique dark tea that does not fit any label. This tea is grown organically and certified by Ecocert, an accredited independent certification body.
