Description

This tea comes from the Barnesbeg tea estate in Darjeeling. There, the tea plants grow at an altitude of approximately 1200 metres, along the foothills of the Himalaya. The estate takes its name from Christine Barnes, who planted the first tea plants there in 1877.

Tasting notes:
Dry leaves: leaves and buds delicately rolled
Colour: golden
Texture: smooth, developing into a subtle astringency
Notes: zesty, floral (rose, peony), fresh green, fresh almond, camphor

Teapot preparation: 85°C (185°F) – 3'45

Also delicious iced:
Steep 8 g in 50 cl of water at room temperature 30 min. Remove the tea leaves and refrigerate.
